How Kellan Grady is still learning for Kentucky basketball 120 games into college career

LEXINGTON – Now 120 games into his college basketball career, Kentucky basketball super senior guard Kellan Grady is still learning.

For just the second time in his career, Grady was held scoreless in the Wildcats’ Nov. 19 win over Ohio, missing both of his shots in 20 minutes on the floor. The only other time Grady had failed to score in a college game was against Appalachian State in his fourth game as a freshman for Davidson in 2017.

You know, the same year Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Kevin Knox and Hamidou Diallo starred for Kentucky.

Those former Wildcats recently started the fourth season of their NBA careers while Grady works to learn a new role surrounded by other top-level talent after serving four years as Davidson’s go-to scoring option.
