How can EJ Montgomery help Kentucky? It starts by acknowledging he's not perfect

LEXINGTON – At Georgia, John Calipari appeared to find his closing lineup.

Guards Ashton Hagans, Tyrese Maxey and Immanuel Quickley played all 20 minutes in the second half as Kentucky rallied from a six-point halftime deficit for a nine-point win. Nick Richards played 17 minutes. Nate Sestina played 16 minutes.

That group played the final 5:32 of the game together.

So, the logical question for Calipari before Kentucky’s next game against Alabama was why not consider starting that lineup?

“I’m not as worried about who starts as maybe the clutter out there,” Calipari said.
