As the 2019-2020 season comes to a close, the Kentucky Wildcats played host to the Auburn Tigers on Saturday with the opportunity to clinch the Southeastern Conference regular-season title.
Standing at a tall, in-conference 13-2 record, Kentucky has virtually dominated in SEC play. However, one of their two hiccups was at Auburn on February 1st. The Wildcats lost the first matchup, but wouldn’t be denied a second time.
Kentucky came out confidently, attacking the rim and making a high percentage of their free throws. While Auburn fought back respectively, Kentucky’s home crowd and their dominance in the paint fueled the fire to finish out the game strong.
