Miami (FL) head coach Jim Larranaga, who is likely a future Hall of Fame coach, announced earlier this week that he is retiring during the middle of the season.
Larranaga held a press conference on Thursday to explain why he decided to step down.
“I’m exhausted,” Larranaga said while pointing the finger at NIL. “What shocked me beyond belief, was after we made the Final Four, eight of my players said they were gonna leave. You have to ask yourself, as a coach, what is this all about?”
