While remembering Kenny Rogers this morning on Kentucky Sports Radio, we took a call from Hank, a listener of the show who worked for Kenny Rogers going back almost thirty years. Hank called in to tell us Kenny heard and liked a “Coward of the County” parody KSR did years ago, and that Kenny was a UK fan.
“He actually was a fan of Kentucky basketball. He sure was,” Hank said of his old friend Kenny Rogers. “His mantra always was, if you took care of your band and you took care of your crew, then they would take care of you.
