HALFTIME: Kentucky leads Yale 33-27 at the break

Ten minutes in, this was going to be a happy halftime update. Kentucky was on pace to score 100 points and cruising offensively, knocking down 3-pointers and getting easy looks around the basket. Ten minutes later, we’re now left talking about the same issues that have been plaguing the offense all season.

Dribbling the air out of the ball while milking the shot clock to set up a last-second prayer, poor spacing and inconsistent lineups, all leading to just eight points over the last ten minutes. Kentucky ended the half shooting knocking down just two of its last 12 shots, turning a potential blowout opportunity into a six-point lead at the break, with the Wildcats up 33-27.
