John Calipari’s new starting lineup with Lance Ware and Dontaie Allen, the seventh different lineup of the season, did not provide an immediate offensive boost. The Wildcats missed their first five shots and for the second consecutive game had only nine points at the second media timeout. Luckily, BJ Boston came to play.

The Georgia native scored 12 of the Wildcats’ 27 first half points, including six points in a 8-0 UK run that quickly shrunk a 9-point Georgia lead to one. The bad news: UK has not yet made a three, missing all nine attempts and committing eight early turnovers.
