Louisville got on the board first, Micale Cunningham throwing a 33-yard touchdown pass to Tutu Atwell on fourth down. Ryan Chalifoux missed the extra point, and on the next drive, Kentucky responded, AJ Rose running it in from four yards out to make it 7-6.
