It’s no secret Reid Travis’ likely absence this weekend will serve as a benefit to Tennessee. Without his physical presence under the basket, it’s that much easier for Tennessee’s front court to dominate. But, according to Calipari, “one guy’s misery is another guy’s opportunity.” That opportunity, of course, is coming for Nick Richards and EJ Montgomery.
Although Richards and Montgomery were not available to preview the matchup Friday afternoon, their teammates Ashton Hagans and PJ Washington had no problem speaking on their behalf. While there’s a lot to be said about the importance of Kentucky’s abilities in the paint against the Volunteers, Hagans kept it simple:
