LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky basketball's newest walk-on has a close connection to UK coach John Calipari.
Isaac DeGregorio is the grandson of Joe DeGregoio, was Calipari’s college coach at Clarion during the 1981 and 1982 seasons. UK confirmed Thursday that Isaac DeGregorio will join the 2020-21 roster as a walk-on.
"Isaac is a terrific basketball player who led his team to the regional (Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League) championship,” Calipari said in a news release.
