The Kentucky Wildcats at one point seemed to be heavy favorites for five-star point guard Hunter Sallis, but it seems now that they’re in the No. 2 position.
Momentum in Sallis’ recruitment has swung to the Gonzaga Bulldogs, as reports from both Eric Bossi of 247 Sports and Rob Cassidy of Rivals state Mark Few and Gonzaga is in the lead to land the five-star guard.
“In 2021, Hunter Sallis remains the primary target,” Bossi wrote when discussing the Wildcats. “Gonzaga appears to be leading the way with Sallis, but Kentucky isn’t totally out just yet with a decision scheduled for late March.
