Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson "day-to-day" following Sunday injury scare

Wan’Dale Robinson has avoided a serious injury after leaving his professional debut with a knee issue.

The New York Giants rookie wide receiver caught a pass in the first quarter against the Tennessee Titans in Sunday’s season-opener. Robinson’s five-yard reception was the first of his professional career, but he injured his knee during the play following an “awkward hit”, according to The Athletic’s Charlotte Carroll, and did not return to the game.

Luckily, an initial X-ray came back negative and he was later ruled “day-to-day” by head coach Brian Daboll on Monday afternoon.
