Tuesday night Kentucky enters enemy territory to face an unfamiliar foe. For the first time in his Texas A&M tenure, Buzz Williams will host the Kentucky Wildcats at Reed Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
After departing Virginia Tech at the conclusion of a successful 2019 campaign, it took Williams awhile to get rolling in College Station. The Aggies were just 6-6 in non-conference play, short-handed after starting guard T.J. Starks was dismissed from the team. Since SEC play began, they flipped a switch. Now 8-6 in conference play, A&M has won three straight games to move into a tie for fifth place in the league standings.
