LEXINGTON – Former Kentucky football player C.J. Johnson is a man of many talents.

All-SEC-caliber athlete. Hip hop artist. Author.

Potty-training motivator.

Johnson, who played two seasons at UK in 2014 and 2015, added those last two titles to his resume with the publication of his first book, “Poopy Stew,” in April. The children’s book was written to “entertain and inspire your child as they begin their potty-training journey.”

“My whole career I wanted to show I’m more than a football player,” Johnson said in a phone interview with the Courier Journal this week.
