Going into the season, Kentucky’s biggest question mark was likely the secondary.
The Cats lost five defensive backs to the NFL, a group that essentially manned the backline of the defense since they were freshman. Make no mistake, Kentucky has recruited a lot of talent in the secondary, but those players lack a lot of game experience.
The loss of Davonte Robinson for the year to an injury is awful news for Kentucky. Robinson is very talented and possessed probably the most in-game experience. He was also versatile and could play multiple positions.
Now without him in the fold, the young players will have to step up and show their talent.
