One big note specific for Kentucky fans is that 2021 signee Daimion Collins has been named as a finalist for the MaxPreps National Player of the Year award. He is joined by other nominees Kennedy Chandler, Jalen Duren, Chet Holmgren, and Tyty Washington.
No Kentucky commit has ever won the award, but Collins has a strong chance.
