While much attention will be drawn to the gates of Keeneland and the skies of falling rain, a pretty competitive baseball series will take place at Kentucky Proud Park this weekend.
The Kentucky Wildcats will play host to the LSU Tigers, hosting games at their home stadium for the first time in three weeks. Kentucky (19-7) can either sustain momentum above the Tigers (18-11) or fall behind via overall record.
Kentucky is coming off a strong performance at No. 5 Louisville, where they racked up 11 runs in a 11-7 road win. Though this has been a down year for the Tigers, Kentucky will need to keep their bats hot if they hope to keep tallying in the win column.
