On3 Consensus four-star offensive tackle Aamil Wagner of Dayton (Ohio) Wayne announced his commitment to Notre Dame on Thursday, choosing the Fighting Irish over Kentucky, Ohio State, Penn State and Maryland.
The 6-foot-6, 265-pounder said that everything about Notre Dame was perfect for him. The decision is considered somewhat of a recruiting upset, as most had projected Wagner to commit to Kentucky.
“I chose Notre Dame because of the trifecta,” Aamil Wagner said.
