LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky has picked up its first signing day commitment.

Four-star Aliquippa, Pennsylvania cornerback Marlin “M.J.” Devonshire joined the Wildcats 21-man class from the December signing period Wednesday on the traditional February signing day. Devonshire picked UK over Pittsburgh, West Virginia and others.

The 5-foot-11 defensive back does not boast the size UK coach Mark Stoops has often looked for among his cornerbacks at Kentucky but was named the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League co-Player of the Year by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
