Lynn Bowden Jr. isn’t the only former Wildcat on the move this Labor Day weekend.
With NFL teams needing to cut their roster down to 53 players by 4 p.m. ET this afternoon, several former Kentucky players came up just short in their hopes of making active game day rosters.
Among them? Chris Westry, TJ Carter, Jon Toth and Calvin Taylor.
Westry and Carter are seen as potential practice squad players for their respective teams, while Toth and Taylor are unknowns moving forward.
Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News says that Westry is “fully expected to join the practice squad” if and when he clears waivers.
