Former VT quarterback Hendon Hooker is headed to Tennessee

An old foe is headed to Rocky Top, further complicating the Tennessee quarterback situation.

Former Virginia Tech quarterback Hendon Hooker–who Kentucky beat in the 2019 Belk Bowl–announced his transfer to the Tennessee Volunteers this afternoon.

Against Kentucky in the Belk Bowl, Hooker threw for 110 yards and two touchdowns against Brad White’s first defensive regime. Given his dual-threat ability, he also pitched in 50 yards on the ground.
