Another day, another former UK basketball staffer moves up the coaching ranks.
Mike Frauenheim previously served as a video assistant on John Calipari’s staff. He’s moving from Lexington to Mount Pleasant to become Tony Barbee’s Director of Basketball Operations at Central Michigan. The news broke hours after Perry Stevenson joined Jon Hood on former UK manager Will Martin’s coaching staff at Missouri Western.
Frauenheim, once a standout for the Division III York College of Pennsylvania, will have an opportunity to rise the coaching ladder alongside Barbee. Best of luck to the Chips.
