Nik Ognenovic announced Wednesday afternoon that he will be taking his talents to Akron. The Zips earned a bowl bid under Terry Bowden in 2017, but Akron has won just one game in the first two years of the Tom Arth era.

Ognenovic, a 6-foot-5 three-star prospect out of Ft. Lauderdale, was recruited by Eddie Gran, choosing the Wildcats over Pitt, Ole Miss, Syracuse and FAU in 2018.
