Bad news for anyone rooting against a Golden State Warriors three-peat in the NBA Finals – former Kentucky star DeMarcus Cousins is back.
Cousins, who starred alongside fellow future NBA stars John Wall and Eric Bledsoe in John Calipari's first team at UK, helped the Warriors rally for a critical 109-104 win Sunday night over the Toronto Raptors in Game 2 of the championship series.
Cousins played in the first game of the series on Thursday, coming off the bench for 8 minutes and scoring just 3 points in a loss to Toronto.
