A recent wave of class-action lawsuits related to concussions has brought a former Kentucky player into the mix. DeMoreo Ford has filed a complaint against the NCAA and the SEC.
Ford was a wide receiver for Rich Brooks starting in 2005. The LaGrange, Ga. native caught 23 passes for 292 yards and three touchdowns, including this 70-yard bomb in the 2006 Music City Bowl against Clemson.
Ford’s career was shortened by head injuries. Physicians advised him to retire from the sport after suffering a concussion vs. Mississippi State in November of 2009.
