Former UK Assistant Lamar Thomas will call Kentucky-Florida for ESPN Radio

One outspoken former Mark Stoops assistant will get the chance to speak freely about the Wildcats this Saturday when Kentucky travels to The Swamp to take on the sixth-ranked Florida Gators.

For the first time this year, Kentucky is moving off the SEC Network to ESPN for a noon kickoff, which means there will be a national broadcast of the game on ESPN Radio. If you can’t access Tom Leach’s call of the game, you can still hear play-by-play from J.P. Shadrick while Lamar Thomas provides color commentary for the four-letter network.

Thomas is best-known nationally as a two-time National Championship-winning wide receiver for The U who spent eight years catching passes in the NFL, including five with the Miami Dolphins.
