Former Mr. Football Wan'Dale Robinson transferring from Nebraska to Kentucky

LEXINGTON -- Former Western Hills High School star Wan'Dale Robinson is coming home.

The 2018 Mr. Kentucky Football announced Friday he is transferring from Nebraska to Kentucky. Robinson, a 5-foot-10, 185-pound do-everything receiver, initially committed to UK as a senior at Western Hills in November 2018 but flipped to Nebraska just more than a month later.

In his Monday announcement that he was entering the transfer portal, Robinson cited a desire to move closer to home because his mother was dealing with ongoing health complications following being hospitalized with COVID-19.

As a freshman at Nebraska in 2019, Robinson was named a second-team Freshman All-American by The Athletic and was one of four finalists for the Paul Hornung Award that ultimately when to Kentucky star Lynn Bowden.
