LEXINGTON, Ky. – Former Moore High School star J.J. Weaver sees the opportunity for a larger role in the Kentucky football program opening for him.
Before the coronavirus pandemic ended UK’s spring football practice along with the rest of the school’s spring sports calendar, Weaver was working to secure a share of the snaps at outside linebacker opened by former starter Josh Paschal’s move to defensive line.
“It’s going to be more playing time for me,” Weaver said after what ended up being UK’s final practice of spring.
