Former Moeller pitcher Zach Logue heading to Oakland as part of Blue Jays/A's trade

According to baseball insiders Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports and Jeff Passan of ESPN, former Moeller lefty Zach Logue has a new employer. Several sites are also reporting the deal, which has yet to be confirmed by the two clubs.

Oakland is reportedly sending third baseman Matt Chapman, a two-time Platinum Glove Award winner to the Blue Jays for right-hander Gunnar Hogland, third baseman Kevin Smith and left-handers Kirby Snead and Logue.

Chapman is a career .243 hitter who had 27 home runs and 72 RBI last season for Oakland, albeit with a .210 average and 202 strikeouts.
