Former Louisville Player Chane Behanan Indicted for Failure to Pay Child Support

Former Louisville men’s basketball player Chane Behanan is in legal trouble for allegedly failing to pay child support.

According to the Courier-Journal:

One month after he was arrested on drug charges in Louisville, Behanan was indicted Sept. 26 and accused of failing to pay $9,791.43 in child support, according to court documents.

He was indicted by a grand jury in Barren County, Kentucky on one count of flagrant nonsupport, a felony charge.

According to the indictment, Behanan since Feb. 1 “persistently” failed to provide support for his 7-year-old child.

This indictment comes just over a month after Behanan was arrested and accused of being in a car with marijuana and a stolen “AK-47 style” rifle.
