Former Kentucky guard Sean Woods is a candidate for the Stetson head coaching job

Former Kentucky guard and current Southern University head coach Sean Woods may be in line for new job.

According to college basketball insider Jeff Goodman, Woods is a candidate for the Stetson head coaching job.

Woods, who played at Kentucky from 1988 to 1992, is in his first season as head coach at Southern University. After graduating from UK, Woods made stops as an assistant at High Point, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, and TCU before getting his first head coaching job at Mississippi Valley State in 2008.
