Former Kentucky guard Charles Matthews has “significant ligament damage” in ankle, misses Senior Night

Former Kentucky guard Charles Matthews has become a key contributor for the Michigan Wolverines, but now, there are worries that his college basketball career may be over.

Michigan announced that he would miss his Senior Night this evening due to the right ankle injury he suffered on Sunday afternoon against Michigan State.

Now, ESPN has reported on their telecast this evening that an MRI showed Matthews has “significant ligament damage” in his right ankle, and there is no timetable for a return.
