Former EKU head coach Dan McHale has landed a job on the coaching staff at the University of New Mexico.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Head coach Paul Weir of The University of New Mexico men’s basketball program announced the addition of Dan McHale to the Lobo staff on Thursday. McHale will serve as an assistant coach and comes to the Lobos after three years as the head coach at Eastern Kentucky.
“Dan is a tremendous addition to our team. His blend of acumen and enthusiasm will be a great injection into our program,” Weir said.
