LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky basketball's 2018 recruiting class began to take shape Friday night.
Five-star point guard Immanuel Quickley became the Wildcats first verbal commitment in the class, announcing his intentions to play for John Calipari and UK on Facebook.
Quickley joins a prestigious list of five-star point guards to commit to play at Kentucky for Calipari. John Wall, Calipari's first Wildcats star point guard and NBA All Star for the Washington Wizards, was on Kentucky's campus Friday at an event as part of his UK Athletics Hall of Fame induction.
