Game two of the 2025-26 season looked a lot prettier for Kentucky than game one.

On Friday night in Rupp Arena, the No. 9 Wildcats (2-0) put their foot on the gas from start to finish in a dominant 107-59 victory over the Valparaiso Beacons. Kentucky was excellent on both ends of the floor, shooting 54.5 from the field, 11-28 from three-point range, and 84.6 from the free-throw line. On the other end, the ‘Cats forced Valpo into shooting splits of 28.4/23.5/65, holding a second straight opponent under 60 points to start the season.

Point guard Jaland Lowe, who sat out the two exhibitions and the season-opening win over Nicholls earlier this week due to a shoulder injury, made his Kentucky debut off the bench.
