Federal court denies Zakai Zeigler’s preliminary injunction for eligibility

A Tennessee court has denied a preliminary injunction in the eligibility case brought by Tennessee basketball player Zakai Zeigler.

Zeigler petitioned the court for an additional year of eligibility, challenging the NCAA’s eligibility rule granting athletes four seasons of competition in five years.

For now, it looks like Zeigler will have to move out into the real world.
