Kentucky will have to wait a little bit longer to finalize its 2020-21 basketball roster. Evansville transfer DeAndre Williams is no longer expected to announce his decision on Sunday, Williams’ coach tells KSR.
KSR’s basketball recruiting analyst Jack Pilgrim posted the news on Twitter, saying Williams is “spending time with his mom today.”
Previously, Williams’ mentor Kenny Roy said to anticipate an announcement this weekend.
“He’s going to make his decision on Sunday, on Mother’s Day. If not Sunday, it’s going to be Monday morning,” Roy originally told KSR during a Q&A session available here.
