Former Kentucky big man Eloy Vargas will continue his professional career in Iran.
Vargas has signed with Chemidor Tehran in Iran’s Superleague.

Chemidor Tehran (Superleague) tabbed 31-year old Dominican center Eloy Vargas (211-113kg-88, college: Kentucky ). He played most recently at Flamengo in the Brazilian NBB league. In 5 Liga Americas games, he averaged 11.2ppg and 6.4rpg last season. Vargas also played 14 games in NBB where he had 7.4ppg and 4.7rpg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final.
