Immanuel Quickley was undoubtedly the star of Kentucky’s 69-60 win over Texas A&M, but let’s give some credit to EJ Montgomery. The sophomore big man finished just shy of a double-double with eight points (3-5 FG, 2-2 FT) and ten rebounds, only his second double-figure rebounding game of the season.
“The one thing we have is when you have three point guards on the floor at one time, you’ve got a chance if your big guys will go and EJ was outstanding today,” John Calipari said afterwards. “That’s as good as I’ve seen EJ play in a while.
