Another team has been forced to drop out of The Basketball Tournament (TBT) due to a positive coronavirus test. TBT announced that Eberlein Drive, a team that includes former LSU stars Emmitt Williams and Tim Quarterman, has been removed from competition after a player tested positive for COVID-19 during the quarantine period. The player is asymptomatic and feels fine and all other players and staff have tested negative.
“We are devastated by the news that we can no longer compete, but we understand,” Eberlein Drive tweeted. “We can report that the player who tested positive is asymptomatic and feeling well.
