Dontaie Allen, a former Pendleton County High School standout and 2019 Kentucky Mr. Basketball who played the past two seasons for the Kentucky Wildcats after a medical redshirt his freshman year, has heard from several Division I teams - including the Cincinnati Bearcats, Xavier Musketeers and Northern Kentucky Norse - according to a report Monday via Twitter from 247Sports' Travis Branham.
Allen announced last week via Twitter that he's entering the transfer portal. He averaged 2.2 points per game in 19 games for the Wildcats this past season.
Allen shot 7-of-37 from 3-point range after making 31-of-78 one season earlier, when he averaged 5.
