Dontaie Allen, a former Pendleton County High School standout and 2019 Kentucky Mr. Basketball who played the past two seasons for the Kentucky Wildcats after a medical redshirt his freshman year, announced Thursday via Twitter that he's entering the transfer portal.
Allen averaged 2.2 points per game in 19 games for the Wildcats this past season.
A 6-foot-7 shooting guard, Allen tore his ACL during his senior year at the Falmouth, Kentucky, school - about 34 miles from Cincinnati - just days after scoring his 3,000th career point.
