After the Kentucky Wildcats beat the Mississippi State Bulldogs, Coach Cal dropped some news on freshman Dontaie Allen in his post-game press conference.
According to Calipari, he might start playing Allen a little here and there after Allen had a couple workouts, and looked good, in said workouts.
“Dontaie (Allen) met with me. We are going to give him a little time to condition. I may start playing Dontaie. Came in and said… you know, he went through a workout like with our team, like doing individuals, and I had never seen him go that hard, like ever,” said Calipari of Allen in his recovery from multiple injuries, including a broken collarbone and a torn ACL.
