LEXINGTON – Even after the departure of freshman wing Kahlil Whitney, one Kentucky basketball player does not appear likely to contribute this season.
Freshman wing Dontaie Allen, who has yet to play as he works his way back from a torn ACL suffered as a senior at Pendleton County High School in December 2018, is not an option to fill in Whitney's minutes, UK coach John Calipari said on his radio show Monday.
"Not at this point," Calipari said. "I don’t think he’s ready to get in there and be on that court.
