The Bluegrass Boys are making their return to basketball this summer, where they’ll once again compete in The Basketball Tournament (TBT) for a chance to win $2 million. This year, the Boys will serve as the host team for the Lexington Region. Games will take place July 19-21 at Frederick Douglass High School and will air live on the ESPN networks.
Wait… back up. What’s TBT?
Basically, it’s a 64-team, single-elimination basketball tournament that started in 2014. It’s a chance for former players to reunite and compete – the roster can include anyone without a guaranteed NBA contract.
