Kentucky fortified its 2022 recruiting class by adding size to its front line on National Signing Day. Noah Matthews announced he has committed and signed with the University of Kentucky.
Recruited by Brad White, Matthews is the second Delaware native to commit to Kentucky in 2022, joining defensive lineman Tomiwa Durojaiye. Now with 20 incoming high school players, Kentucky’s 2022 recruiting class ranks 12th nationally.
Matthews picked Kentucky over Illinois. Each school was late to the game in his recruitment. Once overlooked by Power Five programs, Matthews initially committed to FCS Weber State in southern Utah.
