The son of NBA Hall of Fame center and legendary shot-blocker, Dikembe Mutombo, wants to be recruited by John Calipari and the University of Kentucky.
Ryan Mutombo, a four-star center in the class of 2021, currently holds offers from his father’s alma mater, Georgetown, along with Georgia Tech, and Richmond, though he’s hoping Kentucky reaches out in the very near future.
“I’d like to hear from UVA, UNC, Kentucky would be nice, all of the big schools that kids dream about when they’re growing up,” Mutombo said in an interview with Evan Daniels of 247Sports. “I think it would just be like an awesome experience to get to visit one of those top schools.
