DePaul is looking to hire Kenny Payne as its next head basketball coach.
According to Lawrence Kreymer of The DePaulia, DePaul President A. Gabriel Esteban, chief of staff Steve Stout, and Director of Athletics DeWayne Peevy all met with Payne last night in Milwaukee in hopes of moving closer toward a deal with the New York Knicks assistant and former Kentucky associate head coach.
“DePaul is looking to hire Payne as its men’s basketball coach, but are working out logistics with the Knicks,” Kreymer reported.
