Former Kentucky Wildcats linebacker Denzil Ware has announced that he is transferring to Jacksonville State for his final season of eligibility. Ware made the announcement via his private Instagram account.
Ware will play closer to home, as the Opp, Alabama, native will now play in-state.
“Excited to announce that I will finish my last season at Jacksonville St.,” the post read.
Ware was the first four-star prospect that Mark Stoops signed at Kentucky. He played three seasons for the Wildcats, in which he racked up 157 total tackles, 27 for loss, 13 sacks, three forced fumbles and an interception.
