Dekel Crowdus’ relationship with UK’s coaching staff, namely Vince Marrow, was one of the driving factors in his decision to stay home to play at Kentucky over other offers from many top tier programs around the country. Crowdus can’t pinpoint what it is that draws him to Marrow and Kentucky; maybe it’s the way Marrow talks, he guesses.
“He was the one who got me to come here. Me and him are just so close, I’m so comfortable talking to him and coming to campus.” Crowdus explained to Kentucky Sports Radio. “I guess it’s the way he talks, I don’t know.
